Dirt Biking New Zealand
Rather than resting on his laurels after thousands of miles of, largely incident free, motorcycling on the world's tarmac, Henry Cole decides to shift things up a gear and attempt to survive off-road enduro riding. Where better to start than that well-known magnet for all adrenaline junkies - New Zealand. Henry enrols for some intense off-road training prior to departure and quickly appreciates just how different and challenging off-road riding will be. However, once in New Zealand and able to access the stunning remote wildernesses and spectacular landscapes only seen far from the beaten track, Henry realises all the rigors of training have been worthwhile. The thrill of the ride clearly goes to Henry's head as he subjects himself to further extreme adventures by driving monster trucks, taking to the air for some aerobatics in a gilder and jet boating. As Mr Cole himself might remark, steady on old chap!

Henry Cole embarks on a new quest to discover the best off-road riding in New Zealand. The extreme sports capital of the world, Queenstown, in New Zealand's South Island, is Henry's home for the first few days of his trip where he learns how to ride off road from New Zealand's best Motocross racer. Once suitable trained, Henry rides some of the challenging trails in the Remarkables mountain range and takes on a shepherd to find out who is the fastest at rounding up 100 sheep: Henry on his bike or the shepherd and his dog! Pumped for action, Henry also samples jet-boating and extreme heli-biking. Henry then heads off to Twisel in the foothills of Mount Cook to visit a glacier and do a spot of aerobatics in a glider; all the time taking in the beauty of the surrounding towns and scenery.
Henry Cole continues his off-road riding tour of New Zealand's South Island visiting Clyde, Alexandra, Invercargill and Dunedin. As well as riding incredible trails, like the 50km Dansey's pass and 100kms through the Catlins Forest, Henry meets some of the most extreme motocross stunt riders on the planet and the organisers of the annual "Frew Farm Jam". Henry also gets to ride on the legendary Oreti beach in Invercargill, drive the biggest monster bus in the world, go upside down in a biplane as well as make time for an impromptu visit to Accident and Emergency!
